2008-10-31     A wonderful Halloween Party, organized by YALC and Yanlord Club, was held on the night of the traditional American Festival, Oct 31. The party began with a catwalk parade by YALC Yanlord students dressed in a variety of splendid costumes, including a dazzling Snow White,an heroic-looking Superman and a splendid Spiderman. With winning smiles the young Halloween characters introduced themselves in English and posed most attractively on stage. Under the guidance of their YALC foreign English teachers, the young students performed a classic English song to the resounding applause of the audience. Using a variety of interesting materials prepared for them by their YALC teachers, the children then created their own candy bags before running to the YALC candy counter to yell,“Trick or Treat?” All the children enjoyed their delicious candy treats and went home with happy memories of a fun and happy Halloween.
